The First One

Lately I've been told to just get started on creating the posts of a blog, so why not on weblog.lol.

I had a lot of fun in the past, experiementing with DNS and SSG, making my own blog using Hugo. But since I really need to stop getting sidetracked, using something premade might work better this time.

The first post is also a great time to test out a static site comment system. After some searching, I've settled on Giscus, which should show up at the bottom of this post.

In addition, there's a Reply via email! button in the bottom right, just below the post date. Many people have reported these to produce great conversations, so I'm adding it in from the start, alongside GitHub-based comments.
